Last week we finished this custom 100 ton hydraulic press and it is now ready for export shipment. This hydraulic press is based on our production press, but our customer required some changes in its design and functions. Producing a custom-made hydraulic press is no problem for us, so together with our customer we started to work on this project.
Features of this custom 100 ton hydraulic press
At the moment, the customer works with an old press and the new hydraulic press needed to be similar in its functions. For example, the operator of this machine sits in front of the press on a chair. So, that is why the custom 100 ton hydraulic press has a joystick at a height of 960 mm. Produced to make sure that the operator can easily operate the cylinder by hand while seated.
Next to the lever to operate the cylinder, this custom 100 ton hydraulic press has a knob to regulate the approach / working speed and a knob to regulate the pressure. To keep track on the applied pressure, the machine has a large manometer (ø 160 mm) with a reading in tonnage. Furthermore, the frontal working area is protected by a transparent protection screen. This screen can be moved up and down by means of pneumatics. The backside of the hydraulic press is equipped with two protection panels with a micro-switch. For safety reasons, if one of these protection screens or panels is opened, the hydraulic press will not work.
Ready for export!
At the beginning of next week this custom 100 ton hydraulic press will be exported by ocean-freight for a safe and sound arrival at the customer in the beginning of September. We would like to thank them for their trust. And, obviously, we wish them many safe and happy working hours with this custom-made Profi Press.
